Abstract: Bird species will be able to survive in the urban landscape or not, depends on their ability to adapt or the available resources. Birds and their melodious song increase the quality of life, especially for people living in urban areas. Nowadays city planners are making these habitats attractive, so that this may increase the faunal diversity. The current review aims to provide an analysis of avian fauna recorded. Wetland birds and terrestrial species are included from various water bodies and greenspaces of this area. This review highlights various aspects of avian diversity which were enlisted over these years and it will also form a base for further research.

Abstract: The transportation problem is a type of linear programming where the goal is to transport homogeneous products from various origins to different destinations while minimizing the total transportation cost. Recently, companies have realized the importance of reducing transportation costs and have turned to operations research techniques to optimize the process. This paper aims to develop an optimization model using linear programming to solve the transportation cost problem of Akure Bus Terminals. The model focuses on the operations of each park: North gate, Road-block, Benin Garage, Peace mass transit, and Ondo garage, and their routes to commercial cities such as Lagos, Ibadan, Benin, Abuja, and Kano. Data collection was done through questionnaires to both transporters and passengers to determine the cost of road transportation per trip in Ondo state. The study makes suggestions for reducing transportation costs to and from Akure, Ondo state.

Abstract: In this paper, the optimal power on endoreversible Stirling cycle with perfect regeneration has been investigated. In the endoreversible cycle, external heat transfer processes are irreversible processes. Optimal temperature of the heat source leading to a maximum power for the cycle is detained. Moreover, effect of design parameters of the Stirling engine on the maximized power of the engine and its corresponding thermal efficiency is studied.

Abstract: Owing to the high costs of launching new products, brand extensions have been the basis of national and international strategic growth for many firms over the past few decades. Brand extension strategy consists of using an established brand name to launch new products. Beside the benefits of using this strategy there is a risk for the brand image of the company to be diluted. Researchers on this issue have shown that brand extensions can have a considerable effect on brand image. In Iran, there are plenty of well-known brands especially in food industry which are interested to enter new markets. In this research, the researchers have been trying to find out the effect of some variables such as, perceived fit, brand familiarity and consumer innovativeness on consumer attitude toward brand extension. Then they could see how consumers’ attitude to extensions may influence the brand image of Mahram (the sample brand name in this research that is a well-known company in food industry in Iran). The model adopted for this study is based on that developed by Martinez and Pina (2010). The variables are being investigated by using a questionnaire and by means of a regression analysis and Chi-Square test. 235 samples are being questioned that were all selected on a random basis. Results show that there is a relationship between the brand image before extension and consumer evaluations of brand extension. Perceived category fit, perceived image fit and consumer innovativeness have direct effect on consumer‘s attitudes toward extension. Consequences reveal that consumer‘s attitudes toward brand extension has effect on their evaluations of the parent brand image.

Abstract: There are a lot of optimization problems in various areas of sciences and technologies. For solving them, there exist so many optimization techniques. Among optimization techniques, particle swarm optimization (PSO) has proved to be so promising. In this paper, fundamental concepts of PSO are introduced, basic PSO variants are explained and analysed and some applications of PSO in different areas are mentioned. The authors believe that this paper can be useful for researchers who intend to apply PSO to optimisation problems.

Abstract: In this paper the issue of building a secure operating system, as the most important system software, is discussed. Securing operating systems have mainly two traditional approaches: First is reviewing and making secure configurations, and the second is disabling unnecessary services. In this research, these two approaches are reviewed, then the third approach will be presented. In this new approach the important system services will run in isolated virtual machines. Separated services greatly reduce the risk of attack and increase security of operating system. One of the most important benefits of our new approach is the minimal cost of implementation by using the recently available virtualization technologies.

Abstract: Water generally collects in a river from precipitation and other sources such as groundwater recharges, springs, natural ice snow packs and climate changes, heavy rains, droughts affect the river. It is possible to predict what climate conditions will be like in river basin catchment areas in the next 50 years roughly through Monsoon Time Scales. According to an estimate, the Sutluj river will overflow with floods in the coming years. Through this research proposal we can know the future consequences of the Sutluj river. Plans can be made accordingly. So, scientists can establish Monsoon Time Scale for that river basin catchment areas and predict what is going to happen in the Sutluj river basin catchment areas in the coming 50 years roughly.

Abstract: Green beans are considered one of the most important vegetable crops due to their high nutritional value. Egypt’s production amounted to about 176 thousand tons, and it exports about 18.24 thousand tons, at a value of $30.13 million, during the average period (2019-2021). Hence, the percentage of exports is not commensurate with the available productive energies, in addition to the presence of some exporting companies that do not adhere to the internationally agreed export rules, which results in returning the green beans trucks that do not conform to the required specifications as a result of the lack of entry into an integrated central trace system for agricultural exports, The research mainly aims to identify the current situation for the production and export of Egyptian green beans and to study the factors affecting the export Traceability system and the extent of its application in companies and farms producing and exporting Egyptian green beans. The results indicate a decrease in the area by about 1.54 thousand feddans and Yield by about 0.051 tons annually, which led to a decrease in the total production of green beans by about 7.9 thousand tons annually,  The European Union markets import about 77.6% of Egypt's total exports of green beans, And it turns out from the study of factors that affect the export Traceability system in producing companies and exporting Egyptian green beans to the European Union markets, The increase in export experience, project size, and project management model leads to an improvement in following the traceability system by about 307%, 872%, and 329%, respectively, The research recommends raising production efficiency and high quality by cultivating distinctive varieties and good agricultural transactions suitable for export, Providing support and support for companies operating in the export of green beans with the Traceability system, especially for markets that have conditions such as the European Union markets.
